The Monastery has been a spiritual home for the New York City area from its founding in 1923. Since then, Passionist priests, brothers and lay associates have brought vision and help to people facing spiritual, emotional and material challenges.
The Passionists believe in the great miracle of God's love found in the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Today the mission of the monastery continues as it is expressed in our motto: "May the Passion of Jesus Christ be always in our hearts".
